When the Moon Disappears

When the Moon Disappears

Lately, there’s been a lot of talk—strange things about the moon. People are noticing changes in its course, its appearance, its timing. Upside-down crescent moons have started showing up, and something about it all feels off, like the rhythm of the heavens is shifting. And every time I hear someone mention it, I go back to a vision I had as a child. One of those moments that sticks with you forever.

I remember exactly where I was—down to the scent in the air and the way the wind moved. I looked up at the sky, and suddenly... the moon disappeared. Not behind clouds. It didn’t fade. It vanished. One second it was there, and the next it was gone, like someone turned off a light switch that shouldn't be touched. I’ve never forgotten that vision. In fact, I shared it in an old video years ago, along with a few other things that came to me.

One of those visions was of the earth itself splitting. A massive tear, as if the planet had finally had enough and cracked open. I saw it rip through America, starting in the Lake Tahoe area and stretching southeast into Oregon. And then there’s the quake—the 9.0 that will hit Washington. I’ve always felt strongly that it would happen in March or September, and I still believe that timing holds weight.

Now back to the moon.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: I believe the moon isn’t what we think it is. I believe it’s a kind of projection—a placeholder, a timekeeper, but not permanent. It’s been set in the sky for a purpose and for a season. When its time is up, it will vanish. Just like in my vision.

If you spend time in the Bible, you’ll notice something interesting. God’s time is marked by the sun—the greater light to rule the day. But Satan’s time? That’s lunar. That’s the lesser light to rule the night. Think about it. God’s time moves with the light, always pointing toward the day, while the enemy operates in shadows, in reflection, in phases.

“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: He made the stars also.” —Genesis 1:16

And what does Jesus say about the last days?

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light...” —Matthew 24:29

There it is—plain and clear. The moon losing its light is a prophetic sign. And in Joel, it’s repeated with even more clarity:

“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.” —Joel 2:31

We’re creeping into the last days, no doubt about it. And I believe the moon will play a pivotal role in this unfolding story. When the moon disappears—literally or spiritually—it won’t just be a cosmic event. It will be a sign. A warning. A reset.

This is more than prophecy. It’s a call to open our eyes.

Because when the moon disappears, everything changes.
