Know the Parable of the Fig Tree: A Prophetic Warning Before the World Shut Down

On March 22, 2019, a massive fig tree fell in Hollywood. It wasn’t just any tree—it was one of four fig trees planted 144 years prior, at the founding of Hollywood itself. At the time, I took this as a sign, a harbinger of what was to come. I said then that 2020 would be the beginning of something unprecedented, something that would shake the foundations of what we know. One year later, almost to the day, the world would shut down in a way never seen before. The lockdowns began, and with them, a prophetic timeline was confirmed.

This is why we must know the Parable of the Fig Tree.

The Parable of the Fig Tree – Matthew 24:32–35

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

This passage is not simply poetic—it’s instructional. Christ told us to learn this parable. Not just to read it or quote it—but to understand it. It’s a clock. A timeline. A sign.

Many biblical scholars believe this fig tree symbolizes Israel, and I agree. In 1948, Israel was established as a nation. That generation, Christ said, will not pass away before all things are fulfilled. But prophecy has multiple witnesses, and I believe Hollywood—often seen as the cultural megaphone of the world—bears witness alongside Israel. And on March 22nd, 2019, one of its fig trees fell.

Hollywood and Israel – A Dual Witness

Israel is often called the Jewish nation, and Hollywood is often said—half-jokingly or conspiratorially—to be “run by the Jews.” Whether for truth or caricature, this statement aligns the two in symbolic unity. One is the root; the other is the broadcast. One is spiritual; the other, cultural. Together, they shape the world.

That’s why the fig tree falling in Hollywood is not a coincidence. It’s a message. And it wasn’t alone.

The Barren Fig Tree – Luke 13:5–9

“...A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down...’

But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’”

Look at the pattern:

In 2019, the fig tree fell.

In 2020, the world was given one more year—a final chance to bear fruit.

Then the shaking began.

What came after 2020? Riots. Fires. Lockdowns. Isolation. Division. False peace. Rising war drums. These are not random—they are the branches becoming tender. The tree is being shaken.

A Second Fall: King David’s Statue

On March 7, 2020, a statue of King David—the first true king of Judah—fell in Glendale, just outside of Hollywood. Another sign. David ruled 40 years, a number of probation in Scripture. So did Saul and Solomon. The unified kingdom lasted 120 years before it split—just as Moses lived 120 years, and just as God gave Noah 120 years to warn of the flood.

These numbers are not coincidences. They are timelines. Cycles. Warnings.

The Numbers Don’t Lie: 144 Years

The fig tree in Hollywood was 144 years old when it fell.

“Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.” – Revelation 7:4

Again, a match. A pattern. A call. The sealed ones are marked. The tree fell just as March approached, the time when fig trees should bear fruit. The same season Christ approached the tree that bore no fruit and cursed it, causing it to wither.

Hollywood—and by extension, our culture—was exposed as barren. Flashy. Fruitless.

Revelation 6 – The Sixth Seal and the Falling Figs

“And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind...” – Revelation 6:13

This imagery is not metaphorical. It is prophetic. The world was shaken. The sky grew dark. Fear gripped the nations. The kings of the earth hid, just as it says.

3/22 – the date the fig tree fell in 2019 – now becomes a marker. March 22, 2020, exactly one year later, was the week that lockdowns swept the earth. The world entered its cave. And the Lamb began to open seals.

Conclusion: The Tree Has Fallen. The Clock is Ticking.

I do not share this to sensationalize or frighten. I share it because Christ told us to watch, to understand, to learn the parable of the fig tree. We were given signs before the shaking began. The fig tree fell, the statue fell, and the veil was torn from culture as we knew it.

We have entered the season of harvest—but the question is: Will we bear fruit?

The tree is already tender.

The branches are budding.

Summer is near.

A Prophetic Timeline Unfolding Before Our Eyes

When I first wrote this in March 2019, the world hadn’t yet felt the quake. But I warned then that March 22, 2020 would be the beginning of something unmeasured—a time of shaking, testing, and exposure. A year after a 144-year-old fig tree fell in Hollywood—one of four planted at the city’s founding—the world was brought to its knees. And now, as I write this on April 25, 2025, we are living deep in the middle of what I believe is a countdown to the rise of the Antichrist and the fulfillment of the Fig Tree Prophecy.

Just Look at the Pattern—March 22nd

Let these dates settle in:

March 22, 2020 – Global lockdowns began.

March 22, 2021 – The Suez Canal was blocked, halting world trade and signaling coming shortages and economic disruption.

March 22, 2022 – Russia began key boycotts, interest rates spiked, and violence escalated. Florida implemented lockdown-style curfews after shootings.

2022 – A major milestone: something I previously stated had to happen to keep the prophetic timeline aligned for the rise of the Antichrist (which I call 666):

The Queen of England died.

This was critical. I had written long before that six years prior to 2028, the Queen would either step down or die, initiating a shift.

2025: And Now the Pope Has Died

Just as I said would follow—the Pope has now passed. Either the King or Pope would have to die by 2025. That’s not random. That’s clockwork. That’s Revelation.

Why? Because if you understand Revelation 6—the Sixth Seal, the cosmic shaking, the fear of rulers, the hiding in caves—you’ll see that six years prior to the 80th year of Israel (2028), everything starts. The seals begin to open.

The Generation That Will Not Pass

We must return again to the words of Jesus:

“This generation shall not pass away until all these things take place…”

— Matthew 24:34

Israel became a nation in 1948.

2028 marks 80 years.

And according to Psalm 90:10, a biblical generation is 70 to 80 years. The clock is not vague—it’s precise.

Now look at 2 Thessalonians 2, where Paul tells us about the falling away, the revealing of the man of sin, and the strong delusion that God Himself allows. It’s unfolding now. We are entering the transition year of 2025—a year not only of warning but of preparation.

A Shadow on the Horizon – August 2027

If you think this ends in 2028, let me make something clear. I believe the pivotal moment comes in 2027—August, to be exact—when a total solar eclipse will pass over Egypt, lasting 6 minutes and 30 seconds.

That’s not only the longest eclipse of the century. It’s symbolic. It’s prophetic.

Six and a half minutes.

Six seals. Six years. 666.

The sun will go dark over the land where God once judged Pharaoh, and the countdown to Revelation’s judgments will reach its climax.

So What Now?

Get ready, people.

If you’ve been waiting for some grand sign to start preparing, this is it. The fig tree has already fallen. The lockdowns, the commerce disruption, the moral decay, the rise in violence, the deaths of monarchs and spiritual leaders—they aren’t isolated. They’re part of the pattern.

This isn’t fear-mongering. It’s prophecy-watching.

Christ told us to learn the parable of the fig tree. To understand it.

Because when you see these things—you will know that summer is near.
