Rallying Around Rachel — A Time to Give Back to the One Who Always Gives
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Supporters,
If you know Rachel, you already know this: she is the last person who would ever ask for help. She is the one who shows up. The one who listens. The one who gives — even when she has little left for herself. But right now, Rachel needs us.
Last year, Rachel experienced the heartbreaking loss of her father. Anyone who has walked through that kind of grief knows how deeply it shakes the foundation of your world. She carried that pain quietly and with strength, continuing to serve others through her one-woman business, always putting her clients and community first. Then, just a few months later, life dealt another devastating blow: a diagnosis of breast cancer.
While she has faced this battle with courage and grace, cancer does not pause the bills. It does not stop housing costs. And it certainly does not allow a small, one-woman business to continue running at full strength during treatment. Rachel is self-employed. When she cannot work, income stops — completely. Every appointment, every treatment day, every recovery day means lost revenue. What she built with dedication and sacrifice over the years is now being strained simply because her body needs time to heal.
And here is the hardest part: She still didn’t want to ask for help. That is exactly why we are asking for her. Rachel has always put others first — emotionally, physically, and financially. Now it is our turn to stand in the gap for her.
The funds raised will go directly toward housing expenses, medical bills and treatment-related costs, basic living expenses during recovery, and keeping her business afloat during this difficult season.
This isn’t about charity. This is about community. This is about love. This is about making sure someone who has poured so much into others doesn’t have to fight this battle alone.
If you can give, any amount matters. If you cannot give financially, please share this page. If you pray, please lift her up. Rachel is one of the kindest souls you will ever meet. She deserves time to heal without the crushing weight of financial fear on top of everything else. Let’s surround her the way she has surrounded so many of us.
Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your support.
With gratitude, Glenn
